I ordered the spaghetti and meat balls with bochacini cheese and my wife ordered the steak. It was not until our app was complete that the waitress took our meal order. After 30 minutes we received our drinks a diet coke and a beer, as well as our app. Waitress took 15-20 minutes to get to our table for drink orders, when she was there I ordered an app Mead bread, it is yummy. At the time, I would have said the restaurant was half empty (or half full). On Valentines Day, I look my pregnant wife there (we went at 4 to beat the rush). Second time, the meat was just terrible, manager and waitress both said "sometimes you get meat like that, nothing we can do."

The first time, the manager had a new one cooked up and gave a free desert. First two times I received extremely poor cuts of steak. Kudos to you Blue Cactus girl, your great, but your restaurant is awful. This waitress deserves a gold star, she discounted my bill, which I was so thankful for, and she didn't give me a hard time at all. The ONLY thing that saved this experience for me was that the waitress brought my friend a complimentary slice of cheesecake for her birthday. After pulling out all the brown chunks, there was nothing left, and I just gave up. So I pull it out and as I'm eating I'm realizing the whole damn bowl of salad is brown, old, slimy and disgusting. I'm thinking, really? You're even going to fuck up my salad. So I'm eating and trying to enjoy this evening, and from my dish I pull this slimy brown leaf. The guacamole arrived at the table by the time we were nearly done the nachos.Īnd to top off my night, my salad. When we complained there was no beans and guacamole, our waitress said nachos no longer come with beans, and that she would bring guacamole.
So we essentially paid $14.00 for a few chips, a sprinkle of cheese, 2 tbsp of salsa and shriveled up jalapeno peppers that came from either a can or a jar. There were no beans, and no guacamole as the menu said there would be. There was about 2 tbsp of salsa in a dish on the side, a few jalapenos slices, the nachos consisted of colored chips with melted orange cheese and a blob of sour cream on the side. Nachos soon arrive at the table and we are all underwhelmed. Waitress comes back with my beer and we all order a plate of nachos, and I order a plain house salad, just so I can have some greens with my nacho meal. Anyhow, after much deliberation, I felt bad and sent the second margarita back and just ordered a beer.Įveryone is finally there. Everyone at the table joked that it tasted like a salt lick. The bartender must have been pissed that I sent back his filthy drink because instead of rimming the glass with salt, he poured it all in the drink. In disbelief I pulled it out and examined it. A whole disgusting and discoloured half moon. Waiting for the other 2 people to arrive I couldn't resist my frosty drink any longer, and stared stirring around the drink. So we waited for the next people to arrive and ordered up some margaritas
Our waitress was great and tended to us right away asking if we wanted drinks and let us know that margaritas were 1/2 price tonight. My boyfriend and I arrived first and were seated quite quickly, as the birthday girl called in advance to save 6 seats. We wanted to get nachos and drinks, as well as celebrate my friend's birthday.
